Individual Spirit Awards

Each year we recognize two players (1 male & 1 female) who best exemplify Spirit of the Game in their conduct on and off the field. Do you know someone who deserves recognition, who exemplified Spirit over the last 12 months? Someone on your team, or perhaps another team? If so, then nominate them!

The deadline for nominations is Friday August 30. Send an email to contact@vul.ca to describe why your candidate is qualified. You can nominate two people, too - a male and female. The winners will be announced at our Awards Banquet on October 19.

Summer Team Spirit Awards

During our Summer League, each month we recognize teams that receive the highest spirit rating for their night. These awards are based mainly on the team's spirit score, but volunteers also earn spirit points for their teams.

The following teams won the award for their night in Summer 2013. Each team receives a pony key from R&B Brewing. Congratulations to all teams!

Overall

We also present an Overall Team Spirit Award to one team from each night for the entire summer. Those teams will be will be identified by the end of August, and the awards will be presented at our Awards Banquet in October.
