Weekly Skills Series

These programs are for all levels, from children who want to gain confidence trying a new team sport to advanced players who want to improve their mental and physical game in preparation for the school or club season.

We’re looking forward to fun and action-packed weekends with our enthusiastic, energetic and experienced instructors.

Winter U14 Skills Program (end of Jan. to March)

This co-ed program is a fun and inexpensive way for children aged 9 to 13 to learn the foundational skills for ultimate. We create groups based on the participants’ skill levels, and they will learn techniques and strategies from skilled coaches and then practice them in games. This year, we have two 9-week options!

  • Saturday mornings, 10 am to 12 pm
  • Sunday mornings, 10 am to 12 pm

Winter U16 Skills Program (end of Jan. to March)

Participants aged 13 to 15 can sign up for this 9-week co-ed afternoon program full of drills, activities, and games that are fun and well-supported by skilled & welcoming instructors.

  • Saturday afternoons, 1-3 pm
  • Sunday afternoons, 1-3 pm

Winter U19 Skills Program (mid-January to March)

Youth who play high school or club ultimate (or aspire to!) can enjoy their favourite sport while training in preparation for the spring season. Develop a range of skills and learn strategies during these 12-week programs. We have three U19 options this year, including a new option in Burnaby.

Intermediate to Advanced players

  • Sundays 6-8 pm at Empire Park (East Vancouver)

Advanced to Elite players

  • Sunday 6-8 pm at Point Grey Secondary (Vancouver West side)
  • Sunday 7:30-9:30 pm at Byrne Creek School (Burnaby)

Week-Long Spring Break Camps

We’re offering week-long Spring Break Camps again! These camps give youth and intermediate players a chance to immerse themselves in ultimate and the Spirit of the Game for five half-days.

Each camp is split into mornings for ages 8-11 and afternoons for ages 11-14.

We have two locations for our camps, one east and one west:

  • March 15-19 - Eric Hamber turf field (near Oak Meadows)
  • March 22-26 - Empire South turf field (East Vancouver)

Learn more about these camps, and plan to register early!
