Our most popular season is coming soon! Join 4500+ people playing the sport we all love, enjoying late evening sunshine with both old and new friends.
You have a few options for summer 2020: our main summer league, two regional leagues, and our beginner camp!
1. Vancouver Summer League
As with last year, you have two formats to choose from:
- Regular format: Two games equals more play time! 2.5 hours of fun on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
- Single-header format: One longer game over 2 hours. Best for families and busy folks. Available on Mondays and Wednesdays only.
Important Dates
- March 16: Registration opens for returning teams
- March 30: Registration opens for new teams
- Other dates are TBD due to COVID-19.
Read more on our Summer League page, including current status of registration.

A reminder that grass games will start at 6:30 pm sharp and turf games at 7:15 sharp. Read last year's Start Time article for more
2. Regional VUL Leagues
Don't want to drive into Vancouver? We have two different leagues for you.
Surrey Summer League
This 7-on-7 team league has been running in Surrey on Sundays evenings for years and is entering its third season as part of the VUL family.
Team registration opens March 16. See the Surrey League page for details.
Summer Hat in New West
Sign up as a Single, or with a friend as a Duo or Trio for this fun 5-on-5 hat league on Tuesday evenings.
Registration has been postponed for now due to COVID-19. Visit our Summer Hat in New West page for the latest info.
NEW THIS YEAR: We are looking for mentors for our New West teams! Email Kristine at burnaby@vul.ca for details if you are interested.
3. Beginner Camp
Learn the game from the ground up through a two-phase Summer League Camp in Vancouver (June to mid-August).
Six weeks of skills development is followed by five weeks of league play where you'll be placed on teams and put what you've learned into practice. All with the help of a mentor!
Registration is scheduled to open May 13.
