It's a Pirate Xmas!

Yo Ho Ho....Our theme this year is Pirate Xmas! Get all geared up to win the best costume prize, or slap on an eye-patch and Christmas hat and you'll be good to go!

Photo Stage - Props and Costumes Galore

One big step-up from a photo booth, we'll have a full stage of props set up for Pirate Xmas photos! That includes a costume trunk to choose whatever fun articles you'd like to adorn.

Holiday Baking - Bake for a MEC Gift Card

We'll have tons of delicious baking for you to munch on! VUL members who bake for the event will be given a $20 MEC gift card. Email craig.kulyk@vul.ca to register as a baker ASAP, as we usually run out of gift cards quickly. (UPDATE: Baking Full)

Gift Exchange - Win Canucks Tickets!

Participate in our annual gift exchange and you could win a pair of Canucks tickets! Bring a wrapped gift, $10-$15 value and you'll be enter in the gift exchange game. Please bring the type of gift you'd like to receive...good gifts only! 

The game is simple: you'll be given another gift to start with and have 15 minutes to trade gifts with other guests until you are satisfied with your choice. Then the massive group gift unwrapping begins! The VUL will plant extra gifts including the Canucks tickets and a few other awesome prizes.

Volunteer?

Think about it......it's tons of fun and we pay in drink tickets and pizza! Email volunteer@vul.bc.ca. You'll help out for 2-3 hours but still get to enjoy the party. Tasks will include set-up, take down, working the door and helping run the gift exchange.
