Savage Ultimate Club joins the VUL family

Welcome!

The VUL is pleased to announce that Savage Ultimate from Richmond, BC, has become part of the VUL family!

Savage joins Misfit Ultimate in Vancouver and Vortex Ultimate in Surrey/Burnaby, two of the largest club programs in Canada for high school ultimate players.

Savage started in 2015, and has grown each year since then. That first year the Junior Open team was called Savage, and the Junior Women's team was called Strike. In 2016, the top Open and Women's teams were both named Savage, and Strike became the name for the Regional teams. Those names continue to be used today.

Update: The growth of high-school ultimate in Richmond was recently highlighted in an article in Richmond News. The quoted teacher, Sam Law, was the main coordinator for Savage Ultimate for the past few years.
