UPDATE October 2:

The Board of Directors has cancelled the Special General Meeting that was scheduled for next week. Due to higher than expected revenue from Fall programs, we do not need to request membership approval to use Capital Funds at this time. 

We may make such a request at our Annual General Meeting. That meeting will likely be held in November (date TBA).
 

The Board of Directors has called an electronic Special General Meeting for Wednesday October 7, 2020, starting at 7:00 pm. 

In this meeting the Board will bring a motion requesting that the VULS membership authorize an expenditure from the Capital Projects Fund to support the continued operation of the Vancouver Ultimate League to the end of 2020. While we were able to offer some programs this summer and are running modified leagues fall, our financial status has been significantly impacted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

We will provide more details about the meeting over the next 2 weeks, including how to attend and the amount we are proposing to withdraw from the Fund.
