Staff Changes & Job Opportunities

We have important staff updates and new opportunities to share!

Recent Updates

Best Wishes Katie Berezan

Our League Manager, Katie Berezan, will be moving on to other opportunities at the end of February. Katie joined us in the fall of 2018, and has been a very important member of our team since then.

She learned the ropes very quickly and excelled in her 2+ years with us. Her kind and collaborative manner, strategic perspectives, schedule wizardry, and attention to customer service were greatly appreciated by VUL members, staff, and the Board. She will definitely be missed!

On behalf of all of us here at the VUL, please join me in thanking Katie for all of her contributions.

Thank You Kristine

Our Acting Marketing Manager and Regional League Coordinator, Kristine Salzmann, moved to Vancouver Island last year and is transitioning out of her roles this winter.

She joined in the spring of 2018 to run our regional leagues, and stepped up to support marketing and communications a year ago. Her contributions and dedication to the VUL have been immeasurable. The VUL thanks Kristine for all of her great work supporting players in Burnaby, New West, and Surrey, and for quickly and effectively taking over our many newsletters, web updates, partnerships, merchandise, and prizes. We wish her well adjusting to Island life!

Welcome Jeremy Quan

Jeremy Quan joined the VUL team on January 1st, and he actually has TWO jobs:

  • Regional League Coordinator - responsible for leagues in Burnaby, New West, and Surrey.
  • Merchandise Coordinator - responsible for our prizes, merch, and online store.

Jeremy brings a wealth of education and experience in recreation management to the VUL. Please join me in welcoming him!
