Supporting businesses who have supported us

May 25, 2020: businesses in Vancouver and across the province are starting to re-open with enhanced safety protocols. Please visit our community partners' websites for what services they are offering and their respective updates.

Supporting businesses who have supported us

Over the years, we've been fortunate to partner with amazing local businesses who have supported the VUL community with awesome prizes, deals and sponsorships. Over on Facebook this month and in May, we'll be highlighting some of these businesses who are still open, some in limited capacity.

We're also providing a handy overview here of what our partners are up to and how we can show our support! (Updated in mid-April).

Restaurant table service has been closed in Vancouver since mid-March. Here's how VUL Clubhouses are adapting.

  • Strange Fellows Brewing: Home beer delivery within most of Vancouver, Monday to Saturday. Did you know they also sell merch and gift cards online?
  • The Eatery: Open for takeout with reduced hours. Download their takeout menu online (sushi cravings do not go away during a crisis)!
  • Romer's Burger Bar: 20% off all pickup orders, or the option of delivery through their delivery partners.
  • 12 Kings Pub: Check out their takeout and delivery specials here - including cocktail kits!
  • East Side Craft House: Order delivery through a variety of delivery partners.
  • Soho Tea Room: Free delivery if you order more than $20 through Skip the Dishes, 20% takeout orders, and - for a limited time - spiked bubble tea available for takeout.
  • The Main: Open 7 days a week for takeout and delivery. Check out their menu online!

The General Public and The London Pub are closed at this time.

  • BE Ultimate Apparel: BE recently held an Olympic Jersey Design Competition, asking designers around the world how they would design a country's ultimate jersey if they were in the Olympics. Check out the results from their Olympic Jersey Design Collection (prices in USD).
  • Soccerwest: While the store is closed, Soccerwest is happy to arrange delivery within the Lower Mainland or curbside pickup by appointment at the Vancouver location for any of their spring stock or team gear. Reach out to Andrew at
  • Insync Physio: A few of their experienced physiotherapists are offering TeleHealth sessions. Visit their website for more details!
  • Rackets & Runners: This longtime Vancouver business is still open with adjusted store hours and has implemented additional cleaning procedures. They are also providing curbside pickup, and free delivery across Canada for purchases over $100.
  • Layout Gloves: Layout is offering a limited time 15% discount on online orders if you use the promo code TOGETHER.
  • Friction Gloves: Gloves and other disc-sport related gear are available for purchase online; essential workers can use the promo code "thankyou" for an additional 15% off.
