Interested in coaching ultimate?

The Ultimate Canada Community-Initiation coaching program provides coaches with the tools needed to coach a new or developing Ultimate team. The course includes nine modules that cover topics ranging from ethical coaching and planning a practice to teaching Ultimate-specific skills. The course reviews all of the basics needed to play and teach Ultimate including: the rules of the game, Spirit of the Game, teaching and correcting mistakes in basic throws, and teaching basic drills and games. Coaches are provided with resources to take home that include additional drills and summaries on how to teach and correct each throw.

The course is being offered through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) and Ultimate Canada. Upon completion of this one-day course, you will achieve the status of "trained" coach for ultimate at a community level.
