Welcome back to our 5-on-5 sub-on-the-fly Fall Turf League! This league offers everything great about Ultimate - cardio, lots of touches, playing with your friends, or making new ones on a hat team. Playing 5-on-5 speed points is a great way to develop throws and skills just by the sheer number of touches everyone gets on the disc.
Join us on a weeknight in up to 6 divisions of play and throw some plastic around.
Playing Info for 2026
- Format: Standard league with 5-on-5 rules. Doubleheader games.
- Smaller than the regular field size
- Duration: 12 weeks from September 7th to November 26th
- Timeslots: Choose one timeslot for the season: Mondays 8-10pm* or Thursdays 8–10pm
- Locations: Games rotate through the following fields: Trillium E/W, Empire N/S, Jericho W, Memorial SW, and occasionally Van Tech
- Age: 19+, or 17+ with parental consent
- Inclusivity: All players are welcome, including 2SLGBTQIA+ and transgender
*Occasionally, games may be 7–9pm.

2026 Fees
Fees include GST, VUL Membership, and VUL Capital Levy.

*Team fees are due by September 1. There is a $100 deposit payable during registration to claim your spot.
Joining this League
There are three different ways to play in this league:
- Register a team. Register your new or existing VUL team to play and pay as a group. Teams must have 10 players, but we recommend at least 12. Find additional players on Matchmaker.
- Register for placement as a single, duo, or trio. If space permits, we'll build teams of free agents. Duos or Trios must have at least one women-matching player. Not everyone is guaranteed placement.
- Post on Matchmaker. Post your availability to get picked up by an existing team in need of players.
