U19 Skills Series - Learn Through Play (Intermediate to Advance Level)

This program is designed for high school athletes who want to sharpen their skills and raise their in-game IQ. Each session blends focused teaching with live gameplay, so players learn by doing and immediately apply new concepts in action. Coaches are active on the field during scrimmages, modelling techniques, giving quick feedback, and highlighting the finer details of leadership, communication, and smart decision-making.

This program is the perfect environment for U19 athletes who want to push their game forward while learning in a competitive but supportive setting.

Program Information for 2026

• Format: A co-ed skills development program with a mix of drills, activities and scrimmages
• Duration: 6 sessions scheduled as follows:
  • September 26
  • October 3
  • October 10
  • October 17
  • October 24
  • October 31
• Locations & Times: Saturdays 10–12pm at McNair Secondary
• Age: 14-18 years old (as of December 31st of the ongoing year)
• Inclusivity: All players are welcome.
• Equipment: Cleats or runners can be used on synthetic turf fields, but we recommend cleats. Everyone must bring a dark AND white t-shirt.

Fees include VUL Membership, and GST.

How to Register

Complete these steps to register:

1. Registration will be open on a first-come, first-serve basis once registration opens.
2. Registration is completed online.  We accept payment by credit card, Visa Debit, or e-transfer.
3. If a player U19 registers themselves, they must also get Parental Consent. Emails are sent to the player and parent/guardian with instructions.
4. Read the before your register page and then register online once registration opens.
