Vancouver Ultimate is proud to announce that eight of its club teams will represent British Columbia at the Canadian Ultimate Championships (CUC) this month in Edmonton, Alberta.
Teams competing under the Canyon, Reign, and Vortex banners earned their bids earlier this month at the BC Ultimate Championships in Surrey.
Canyon (North Shore):
- Canyon Open — 1st in BC Junior Open
- Canyon Womens — 2nd in BC Junior Womens
Reign (Richmond):
- Reign Open — 5th in BC Junior Open
- Reign Womens — 7th in BC Junior Womens
- Royals Mixed — 3rd in BC Senior Mixed
Vortex (Surrey):
- Vortex Open — 7th in BC Junior Open
- Vortex Womens — 4th in BC Junior Womens
- Vintage Womens — 8th in BC Junior Womens
These teams represent over 200 of the Lower Mainland’s most dedicated and talented athletes, who have been training since May for a spot on the national stage. CUC will see them face off against top-tier talent from across the country, with BC teams historically delivering some of the tournament’s strongest performances.
CUC Juniors runs August 10–13, followed by CUC Seniors from August 14–17. Tournament details, including schedules and livestreamed games, are available at cuc.canadianultimate.com.
