Overview:

U14 - Beginner to Intermediate level

Our U14 Ultimate program is created and delivered in a way that teaches young players the foundational skills of any Ultimate player. Agility, balance, coordination, and spirit of the game are a focus of what we teach here at the Canyon, but our primary goal is always to have fun!

We run basic drills, activities and games that are fun and functional. Players will learn from experienced instructors. All players are grouped based on their skill level. They will get a chance to play with each other throughout the program as we work through the various skills and games.

New for 2026! -

• Participants can sign up for a single session (drop-in) at $30 per session or save $10 by signing up for all 4 sessions.
• You will be asked to choose the date for the individual session at the time of registration. We request folks to sign up atleast 24hrs in advance of the next session so that the coaches can be notified about your attendance.
• If you want to purchase a new disc, please let us know at canyon@vul.ca (mention your program name and quantity needed) We will create a new invoice in the system for payment by credit card or e-transfer (no cash please).

Program Information for 2026:

• Format: A co-ed skills development program with a mix of drills, activities and scrimmages
• Duration: 4 weeks (September 19th to October 10)
• Locations & Times: Kirkstone Turf - Saturdays from 6.30pm to 8pm (1.5 hrs per session)
• Age: 9-13 years old (as of December 31st of the ongoing year). However, we will consider younger/older kids joining on a case-by-case basis. Email us at canyon@vul.ca 
• Inclusivity: All players are welcome, including LGBTQ2+ and transgender.
• Equipment needed: Water bottle, Cleats or runners can be used on synthetic turf fields, but we recommend cleats. Everyone must bring a dark AND light t-shirt.

• All Sessions - $110.00 (incl. GST + VUL membership)
• Disc (optional purchase) - $20.00 per disc (incl. GST)

How to Register:

Complete these steps to register:

1. Registration will be open on a first-come, first-serve basis once registration opens.
2. Registration is completed online.  We accept payment by credit card, Visa Debit, or e-transfer.
3. If a player U19 registers themselves, they must also get Parental Consent. Emails are sent to the player and parent/guardian with instructions.
4. Read the before your register page and then register online once registration opens.
