Registration for Winter 2026 will be live by December 10, 2025

This program is most suitable for the age group 14-18yrs. The Winter season runs from January to March, and includes practices, scrimmages, and tournaments.

Our U19 Advanced & Intermediate programming for Winter 2026 includes the following:

• Opportunity to play C4UC*: This is for players who have at least one year of club experience (or equivalent) and are looking to develop their skills in a competitive but fun environment. Given sufficient registrations and availability, we can take a mixed team to C4UC’s in Montreal, Quebec on April 11th/12th. This will be a select team of 12 players (6 open, 6 women’s, and 4 alternates) that is chosen from interested players within the first 3 weeks of practice. This will be in addition to our normal programming, where all are welcome!
  
  *C4UC participation will be based on Canyon winning the bid to participate at the tournament. Fees for C4UC will be collected after the team is selected within the first 3 weeks.
   
• Alongside this competition, there will be tactical and competitive education for all participants with hopes of competing in some local competition with other clubs within the lower mainland throughout the season. Schedule to be released soon.

Program Information for 2026

• Format:  Open and Women team based training
• Duration: January 3rd to March 21st, 2026 (12 weeks)
• Location & Timeslot: Saturdays, 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Kirkstone Turf
• Schedule:  2 hrs per session
• Age: Age 14 to 18 years as of December 31st of the ongoing year. However, we will consider younger kids joining on a case-by-case basis.
• Inclusivity: All players are welcome, including LGBTQ2+ and transgender.
• Equipment needed: Water bottle, Cleats or runners can be used on synthetic turf fields, but we recommend cleats. Everyone must bring a dark AND light t-shirt.

• C4UC Travel Fees - $915.00 (including GST)
  • Includes - team fees, player fees, accommodation with breakfast, coaching fees, local commute between hotel and venue, field food (juice/energy drinks/fruits)
  • Excludes - Player flights (to be booked individually as per preference)

How to Register

Complete these steps to register:

1. Registration will be open on a first-come, first-serve basis once registration opens.
2. Registration is completed online.  We accept payment by credit card, Visa Debit, or e-transfer.
3. If a player U19 registers themselves, they must also get Parental Consent. Emails are sent to the player and parent/guardian with instructions.
4. Read the before your register page and then register online once registration opens.
