Information for the 2024 Shades N' Hats Tournament will be available in early June.
A summer tradition for ultimate players in Vancouver, Shades N' Hats is a Hat Format tournament. Players sign up as individuals or duos and are randomly assigned a team before the start of the tournament.
Suitable for beginner to intermediate players, Shades N' Hats is an easy way to meet new people in the Ultimate community. This tournament is a great way to connect with the VUL community and experience the fun and enjoyment of tournament play for people who might not have had this opportunity yet.
Playing Info for 2023
- Date: Saturday, July 15, 2023
- Format: Hat
- Duration: One Day Tournament
- Schedule:
- Games start at 10:00 a.m.
- Games finished at 5:00 p.m.
- Teams will get a minimum of four games over the day
- Location: Winona Park
- Age: 19+, or 17+ with parental consent.
- Inclusivity: All players are welcome.
