Come on out to Burnaby Lake for the Burnaby Winter Hat League! Start your weekend by playing some great Ultimate, getting that bit of running in and making new friends and team mates in the Burnaby Winter Hat League.
For "Hat" leagues, players are assigned to teams as if their names were drawn from a hat. We do our best to ensure skill levels are balanced so games are as close as possible. We are excited to see you all out for some fun and fast paced 5 on 5 Ultimate!
Space is limited! Registration will close once player numbers have reached the maximum capacity. Register early!
Playing Info for 2026
- Format: Hat League with 5-on-5 format
- Duration: 12 weeks from January 10 to March 28.
- Timeslot: Saturdays at 10am–1pm
- Schedule: Two games to 21 per session
- Location: Burnaby Lake East Field 7 (grass)
- Age: 19+, or 17+ with parental consent
- Inclusivity: All players are welcome, including 2SLGBTQIA+ and transgender

Fees include GST, VUL Membership, and VUL Capital Levy.

Joining this League
- Register for placement as a single, duo, or trio, and we’ll build teams. Duos or Trios must have at least one women-matching player. Not everyone is guaranteed placement.
- We recommend men-matching players register as part of a Duo or Trio. League sizes are limited and spaces for Single men-matching players fills up quickly.
