Summer League in Surrey

This information is updated for Summer 2026.

Format: Standard league with a 7v7 format.
- Two games to 13 points per night.
Duration: 15 weeks. From Late April to mid-August.
Schedule: Sundays at 6:30pm–8:30pm.
Locations: Mainly Cloverdale Athletic Park, South Surrey Athletic Park , and Serpentine Heights Park.
Age: 19+, or 17+ with parental consent.
Inclusivity: All players are welcome, including 2SLGBTQIA+ and transgender

March 16	Registration opens for all
April 24	Registration closes at 11:59pm.
April 25	Captain's Meeting
April 26	League games begin
August 2	BC Day Long Weekend — Sunday games not scheduled
August 16	League games end

All fees include GST, VUL Membership, and VUL Capital Levy.

*Team fees are due by April 25. There is a $100 deposit payable during registration to claim your spot. There is no deposit for single, duo, or trio.

There are three different ways to play in this league:

Register a team. Register your new or existing VUL team to play and pay as a group. Find additional players on Matchmaker.
Find a team on Matchmaker. Post your availability to get picked up by an existing team in need of players.
Register for placement as a single, duo, or trio, and we will build new teams if space permits.
- Duos or Trios must have at least one women-matching player.
- Not everyone is guaranteed placement. If you cannot be placed on a team, your fees are refunded.
- Men-matching players have better chances of placement when registering with a women-matching player as a duo or trio.
