U14 Skills Series - Learn Through Play

This camp is built for newer Ultimate players who want to grow their skills while having fun. Each week focuses on a new throw, from quick give-and-go passes to big hucks, and then gives players the chance to try it out in creative, game-based scenarios.

Rather than running repetitive drills, sessions are designed around real gameplay. Players get lots of touches, experiment with new throws, and learn through action. Coaches join scrimmages to model techniques, share quick tips, and highlight important team skills such as communication, leadership, and decision-making.

Whether you are brand new to ultimate or ready to take the next step, this camp is the perfect place to build confidence, explore the game, and enjoy learning alongside friends.

We’re making the experience even more memorable. Expect more media coverage throughout the season, with photos and videos shared so athletes and families can relive their best moments. At the end of the program, we’ll wrap things up with a celebration and awards banquet, recognizing growth, effort, and team spirit. It’s the perfect way to close out the season and create memories that last well beyond the fall.

Program Information for 2025

• Format: A co-ed skills development program with a mix of drills, activities and scrimmages
• Duration: 10 weeks (if there are no weather related cancellations)
• Locations & Times: Winona N - 10:00 am to 12:00pm (Saturdays)
• Age: 10-14 years old (as of December 31st of the ongoing year)
• Inclusivity: All players are welcome.

Important Dates for 2025

Cleats or runners can be used on synthetic turf fields, but we recommend cleats. Everyone must bring a dark AND white t-shirt, or order one online during registration.

 Fees for 2025

• $225.00 (including GST and VUL membership)

How to Register

Complete these steps to register:

1. Registration will be open on a first-come, first-serve basis once registration opens.
2. Registration is completed online.  We accept payment by credit card, Visa Debit, or e-transfer.
3. If a player U19 registers themselves, they must also get Parental Consent. Emails are sent to the player and parent/guardian with instructions.
4. Read the before your register page and then register online once registration opens.
