Misfit Club Teams

Welcome to Misfit! 

Are you a high school player looking to compete at the BC or Canadian Ultimate Championships? If so, then Misfit Ultimate is for you! 

We provide a positive environment emphasizing respect, fair play, teamwork, hard work, and commitment. Win or lose, by the end of the summer. Players will have a sense of accomplishment, significantly increased knowledge and skills, new friends, and many fun memories.

Fall 2023 Programming

 

Misfit will be hosting three programs this fall aimed at skill development of different ages / levels of players.

 

  • U14 Skills
    • This developmental program is aimed at players under age 14.  The focus will be on skill development and learning the rules and nuances of the game. Sessions will include skills, drills and scrimmages.
  • U19 Intermediate
    • This is a developmental program for players who have some previous High School or Club level Ultimate experience and are looking for more playing time to improve their skills and develop their passion for the sport of Ultimate. Sessions will include skills, drills and scrimmages. 
    • Regional and Touring level club players and younger High School players are encouraged to sign up for this option.

 

  • Format: Sessions will be co-ed but we may break into open an women’s groups at times, particularly in the Advanced program
  • Duration: 
    • 9 weeks
  • Locations & Times: 
    • U14 – Sundays 10am-12pm, Winona North, September 10 - November 5
    • U19 – Saturdays, 2pm-4pm, Winona North, September 9 - November 4
  • Inclusivity: All players are welcome.

2023  Misfit Fees

  • U14 Skills - $180
  • U19 Intermediate – $180

2023 Misfit Important Dates 

 

August 22: Online Registration Opens

September 9, 10, 11: Programs Start

October 1: Online Registration Closes

October 7,8,9: Thanksgiving Weekend – No sessions

November 4, 5: Program End for U14 Skills and U19

Misfit Coordinator Team 

Our instructors are knowledgeable and passionate and ready to pass on everything they know to our upcoming players. Our Misfit Coordinators would like to introduce themselves so you can get to know them better!

Andrew Fielding 

Andrew has childhood memories of frisbees flying long before being introduced to Ultimate in college in 1994.  Andrew has played at all levels of the game, from random pick-up to US Nationals.  He’s made numerous friends through the sport and has made countless memories playing in dozens of cities on four continents.  His focus now is on developing the game at the youth level.  As a coach, he started with Misfit in 2022 and is now the lead coordinator.  His focus will be on Spirit, competitiveness, team building, and fun.
