Job Title: Executive Director
Organization: Vancouver Ultimate League Society (VUL)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Executive Director oversees the organization's leadership and management in line with the Board of
Directors' strategic direction. They represent the VUL to members, the public, and external organizations,
fostering key relationships crucial for sustainable operations and growth. Collaborating with the Board, they
develop and execute long-term strategies, ensuring programs align with the organization's mission and
enhance member satisfaction and growth. They manage finances, administration, and human resources,
including budgeting, fundraising, talent recruitment, and staff development. Additionally, they oversee IT
systems, website management, and marketing/community engagement to support organizational
operations effectively.

- Competitive Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000. The starting salary will be commensurate with education and
experience.


LOCATION
- The nature of this position requires some evenings and weekends hours throughout the year.
- This position is in the Metro Vancouver area. While the VUL operates as a virtual office, VUL staff must
attend four or more in-person meetings, activities or events per month throughout the year. VUL staff must
have a home office location, computer equipment and phone.
- Have access to a vehicle and be able to lift packages weighing 20 kg.

Metro Vancouver. We are one of the largest independent ultimate leagues in the world, with over 5,000
members. Our primary focus is recreational play, and we offer many league options for adults and youth.
