The Vancouver Ultimate League (VUL) is looking to hire an Executive Director. We are a non-profit society that organizes ultimate for participants of all ages, genders and abilities. We are seeking an Executive Director with a passion for growing the sport of ultimate in Vancouver, Metro Vancouver and across Canada. The Executive Director will work with the Board of Directors to fulfill the organizations long-term strategy and vision, serve as the primary representative of the VUL membership and oversee and implement appropriate resources to ensure the needs and financial health of the VUL are met. This committee supports the Board to improve governance practices. It provides guidance for Board operation, supports ongoing renewal with new candidates, facilitates Board self-evaluation, and encourages best practices for all Board activities. This committee is open to new members for 2021.
This committee supports the Board with strategic direction and planning, including monitoring progress on the current strategic plan. This committee is open to new members for 2021.
This committee supports the Board in providing financial oversight for the society. This includes budgeting and reporting, as well as policies, controls, and risk management. This committee is open to new members for 2021.
This committee supports the Board and ED with HR activities of the VUL. The committee is currently not looking for any new members.
