Technical Writer: Manuals

The VUL is re-opening our search for a contract Technical Writer to help with internal documentation for Youth programs starting this month (August), Read more about the role and apply asap!

CUC Coordinator for Youth Clubs - last chance for 2019

The VUL runs 3 club programs for competitive youth players: Misfit in Vancouver, Vortex in Surrey, and Strike in Richmond. The CUC Coordinator will support all 3 programs at the Canadian Ultimate Championships in August. The role is similar to an Assistant Chef de Mission. Read more about the role, and apply ASAP!

Bookkeeper / Administrator

The VUL is looking for a part-time ongoing Bookkeeper / Administrator to provide support to senior management. Read more about this role. The post will remain active until the role is filled..

Meetup Hosts

Join our community of Event Hosts to coordinate fun meet-ups like disc golf, trivia night, and board games nights. Read more and sign up for some great perks! 

Event Crew

We often need people to help run tournaments, parties and other events. Email volunteer@vul.ca be on our 'first contact' list! Read more on our volunteers page.

Field Monitor

When the weather is questionable in the fall & winter, Field Monitors help us check fields to see if they are playable. A stipend is provided. Email the League Manager via LM@vul.bc.ca for more info.


Board Committees

The Board has a number of committees to help ensure the VUL is well run.

Governance

This committee supports the Board to improve governance practices. The committee provides guidance for Board operation, supports ongoing renewal with new candidates, facilitates Board self-evaluation, and encourages best practices for all Board obligations. To apply to join the committee, email board@vul.ca.

HR

This committee supports the Board with HR activities of the VUL. The committee is currently not looking for any new members.

Strategic Planning

This committee supports the Board with strategic planning and advising the Board on long-term strategic direction. If you are interested in this committee, contact the board for more information: board@vul.ca
